Addressing the False Prophets, Part 2

Sometimes it's easier not to reinvent the wheel, sharing what others have said instead when they've already done the work so well. I was intending on writing an article in which I would talk about much of the following in detail, including verifiable citations, but if a picture is worth a thousand words, what about a moving picture in which the words of certain "prophets" have been recorded for posterity?

As I discussed in part 1 of this series, Addressing the False Prophets, we are warned about these wolves in the scriptures, and we are to warn about them as we teach the whole counsel of God's word. Those who are bewitched by them (Acts 8:9-11, 2 Corinthians 11:4, Revelation 2:20-23) have been attacking me of late. Warning about false prophets is not gossip, and it is not a violation of the command to take such matters before the church, inasmuch as this is not a doctrinal or practical error from which they can repent but a matter of a clearly documented blatant and verifiably false prophecy, and once a false prophet, always a false prophet. Moreover, the vast majority of them either operate outside of a scriptural church, as in a "para-church" ministry or as an independent producer of content, or they are effectively the sole and unquestioned leader of a church without any true accountability before a body of elders and a congregation that can (if they even would) correct, rebuke and remove them as taught in the scriptures (Matthew 18:15-17). Paul was clear: we are commanded to mark and avoid them (Romans 16:17-18, 1 Timothy 1:18-20, 2 Timothy 2:16-17).

Yes, a false prophet can repent towards God and receive forgiveness and cleansing, but that one is to remain forever silent in this regard and never again to be feared in any case, having presumed to speak in the name of the LORD. Some sins do have lasting consequences in this life. And lest I be accused any further of gossip or hypocrisy, I note that I've never presumed to speak in the name of the Lord, let alone saying, "Thus saith the LORD," and it not coming to pass. I don't want my family and friends being deceived any further by these devourers of the flock, and I refuse to remain silent.

Thus it is with sadness in my heart that I share the following.

This one is a classic. What you'll witness is one of the primary reasons why I left the charismatic and prophetic movements. It truly is a quintessential example of the vast majority of what is being heralded as the new wave of latter day prophecy. Watch how the devils that drive this false prophetess turn her on a dime, contradicting itself as she says the exact opposite of what she had said only moments before to this man who uses God's word to put a lying and spiritually seductive Jezebel spirit in its place. Notice how her disciples sway to her enchantment like reeds in the wind.

I know that some might say that this man is just as in error for denying miracles. While it might seem like that from this woman's slanders from her pulpit, he was a pastor of a Calvary Chapel church, a movement that embraces the scriptural doctrines of Continualism and present day miracles. He isn't denying miracles; rather, he's putting them into proper perspective in relationship to the preaching of the gospel and Jesus' blood shed for the forgiveness, remission and cleansing of sins. As a further witness to his integrity, he accepted a forced resignation when he refused to back down from calling out unrepentant sin in the leadership of his church at that time.

The best defense against deception is knowing and believing what the Bible says. I appreciate brother Michael Hoggard and his ministry. Even though he would never say so of himself, he has the heart of a true prophet, faithfully preaching the gospel and teaching the whole counsel of God's word as he warns any who listen of the judgement to come that is almost upon us.

For the record, yes, I'm still a Continualist, acknowledging that the gifts of the Spirit as taught in the scriptures are still in operation today (1 Corinthians 12-14), but I left from consuming the poisoned and rotten fruit of the neo-Pentecostal and modern Charismatic movements years ago (1 John 4:1-3, 1 Timothy 4:1-2, Revelation 2:14, 20-23). (I note that there is a difference between the classical Pentecostalism in which I was raised and the corruption that it has become in the neo-Pentecostalism prevalent in so many churches that have departed from the scriptural roots of this movement. While I yet still disagree with several of their doctrines and traditions that aren't borne out by the scriptures rightly divided and interpreted, at least the classical Pentecostals, both Oneness and Trinitarian, believed in principle in the scriptures as their source for doctrine and tradition and strived towards the same, albeit still coming out of the errors of the Protestant Catholicism in which the movement was formed.) I was at one point nearly deceived by the false prophetic movement until I finally made a clean break in repenting towards God and renouncing the heresy of and my association with it. It was only late last year that I bound and silenced the spirits of a false Jesus (2 Corinthians 11:4) and divination (Acts 16:16-18) that I got in a false "Holy Ghost baptism with tongues" through the "laying on of hands" by equally afflicted and bound men after having "invited Jesus into my heart" in my preteen years, having been taught and received false doctrine my entire life.

It was at this point of deliverance from these devils in further repentance and renunciation that I stopped experiencing the nagging and oppressive doubts about the assurance of my salvation. For the first time I realized at a heart-level of knowing (although I had only intellectually understood it doctrinally for many years, leading to my exodus from neo-Pentecostalism modern and Charismaticism) that I was baptized by the Spirit at the age of three (which is distinct and distinguishable from the baptism with the Holy Ghost that comes from the laying on of hands in baptism with water in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins) when I first was converted through being born again when I believed in the resurrection of Jesus in my heart and confessed with my mouth Jesus as Lord, calling on the name of the Lord to be saved, having heard the preaching of and trusted in Jesus' shed blood for the payment of my sin, as much and as simply as a child with a pure faith given as the gift from God that it is can.

I recalled how that I was filled to overflowing with the Holy Ghost for the first time that I can remember about a year or so later (even though I hardly could have explained this experience from the scriptures at that time), and that I have been called to preach the gospel and teach the whole counsel of God's word my entire life, anointed with the Holy Ghost thereto since my childhood. Although I've sinned much over the years, many times quenching and grieving the holy Spirit of promise with which I was sealed at my new birth in Christ and searing my conscience with an hot iron, my heavenly Father never left nor forsook me no matter how far I've strayed, faithfully leading me back to Himself in the person of the true Lord Jesus Christ, confessing my sins and trusting in His shed blood unto the obedience of the gospel in being baptized with water in Jesus' name.

These videos express my most deeply heartfelt warning to all of my Second Work Movement believing (particularly neo-Pentecostal and Charismatic/WoF/Third Wave/NAR/Drunken Glory "Jehovahuana") family and friends. They document the work of the empowering unclean spirits behind the enchantments of the modern false prophets. I plead with you to watch these, hearing the warning of God's word to separate from such and heeding it.

Updated Monday, 25 July 2022, Saturday, 30 July 2022 and Tuesday, 18 August 2022 with a clarification between classical Pentecostalism, which I respect, and the neo-Pentecostalism into which so many churches have devolved in their increasing adoption of neo-Evangelicalism and the modern Charismatic tendency towards unbridled emotionalism and patently New Age doctrines and traditions, complete with the attending kundalini and other unclean spirits that comes from such heresies.

Updated Saturday, 30 July 2022 to clarify the language used with which I understand the oneness of God and the unity of the Godhead in the person of Christ and the nature of my standing in the gospel and being placed into the remission of sins through baptism with water in Jesus' name in submission to the obedience of the gospel subsequent to being born again by the baptism by the Spirit.
