There is going to be a lot of false prophets back-tracking, hedging, "spiritualizing" or otherwise retracting their lies and deceits in the coming days. If what they said wasn't 100% accurate as they originally said it, mark, avoid and do not fear them! Indeed, they are worthy of death (Deuteronomy 18:20-22), and should be grateful that under the new covenant of the blood until the Times of the Gentles be fulfilled, they are spared this.
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Revelation 12:11
Late last week, I came to the point where I realized that I really don't know what's the best way to pray regarding our nation. The games being played by both factions of the "deep state" threaten to destroy our once great Republic and the final bastion of true liberty through the debasement of our de jure constitutional form of government, and it almost be taken from us. The events of these past several months alone show how close we are to the precipice of utter destruction and ruination, and that deservedly so.

Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.
Most of the time I don't engage trolls: I simply ignore them and move along. I've never been a fan of the exchanging of the throwing of drinks in another's face, let alone the back lot brawl, as exciting as they may seem to be to some at the time. Dry cleaning and medical bills are expensive, and life insurance might not pay out—as if that's of any real concern to those of us who like to survive. Responding in kind to online trolling is much the same in my opinion, and I have no desire to waste my time in this manner. — "Answer not a fool…"
However, if there are points being made in a conversation that are demonstrably incorrect or deceptive, I'll address those points directly, refusing to return in kind their harassment, particularly personal (ad hominem) and "you too" (tu quoque) arguments, focusing on the issues and not the person. In my experience, this is usually the best and fastest way to discourage most trolling, and of course, there's always the option to mute or block them and delete their comments if they persist. — "Answer a fool…"
Who'd have thought that a 3,400 year old pair of seemingly contradictory proverbs could provide so much wisdom in our post-modern world? 😉
I see a lot of my United States residing friends, acquaintances and others chomping at the bit for a "new revolution", some openly calling for civil war if "their side" doesn't get their desired outcome in this election. Allegations of fraud, accusations of corruption and even calls for the execution of traitors are echoing through the land, with fingers pointing on all sides.
For those who profess faith in Jesus and are in either camp, I respectfully request that we consider this: Let's say that Continue reading Cry 'Havoc!', and let slip the dogs of war….
